Instructions 1. Attach the lace presser foot to the sewing machine.
2. Select a zigzag or decorative stitch and adjust the stitch width to sew over the laces. The selected stitch should use forward motions and avoid sewing backward.
3. Slide the laces from the right, under the guides, and into position in the slots.
4. Pull the laces toward the open slot behind the guides. Pull back under the presser foot. Check that the laces are flat and parallel. Sew them behind the presser foot to keep them in place.
5. Place the fabric under the lace presser foot and begin sewing. You may need a stabilizer to keep the fabric flat and smooth.

Details

With the fringe presser foot, you can embellish the surfaces of your fabrics with decorative cords, wool, or fine threads.

 

The slots on the presser foot keep the threads parallel and flat as they guiding them through the slot under the presser foot and sewing them to the fabric.

 

This presser foot can also be used for gathering and pleating.
