Highlights

Instructions for use:

1. Loosen the screw and pull the guide to the left.
2. Insert the elastic through the opening and pull it toward the back of the presser foot.
3. Replace the guide and tighten the screw.
4. Attach the elastic presser foot to the sewing machine.
5. Adjust the desired amount of stretch with the adjustment screw on the top of the presser foot.
6. Place the fabric with the wrong side facing up under the presser foot in the desired position.
7. Sew while pulling the elastic lightly toward the back of the machine. Be careful not to cut the elastic while sewing.

Details

The elastic presser foot is used to stretch and attach elastic to a project. The amount of stretch can be easily adjusted.

The presser foot can also be used to hold a ribbon to a seam to prevent stretching.

Stitch type: Three-thread overlock or simulated ultra-elastic four-thread safety stitch

Differential feed: Normal
Upper blade: Connected or disconnected

 

Note: If desired, the sewn elastic can be stretched, folded, and sewn with a regular sewing machine using a straight or zigzag stitch.
